URGENT APPEAL FROM YOUR COMMITTEE
Dear members,
The committee of Jumpers and St Catherine’s Hill Residents Association have a final request for officers on the committee in the following roles
- Chairperson
- Treasurer
- Membership secretary
- Newsletter Editor
It’s with sadness that the current committee must inform you that we are no longer able to continue and despite repeated appeals for additional officers, the committee are overwhelmed attempting to carry out the tasks required to safeguard the existence of the Association. We are grateful for the persons who joined the committee short term for us to remain quorate, but as volunteers with many other commitments the current committee of Four officers will have to resign without active additional officers in the very near future.
The residents’ Association has always strived to keep members informed and act on their behalf regarding local issues. We hope we have achieved this to the best of our ability. We’ll produce our regular newsletter in July and August but unless we recruit more active officers in the vacant roles, the Association will be dissolved. Please contact us via the website should anyone be in a position to join our committee.
The Association is grateful to the subscribed members past and present for the financial support, but the Association will be holding a Special General meeting for subscribed members on August 3rd, 2023, 7pm in The Hall on The Hill, Marlow Drive, St Catherine’s Hill, Christchurch. Members in attendance will be asked to vote on the chosen charities and dispersal of the Associations funds. A copy of the Associations constitution remains available on the website along with all monthly financial statements.
